Itinerary

Day 1: Departure • Depart Melbourne Airport for Orlando, Florida • Transfer to hotel • Explore area around hotel
Day 2 - 3: Kennedy Space Centre • Astronaut Training Experience• Chat with an Astronaut• Kennedy Space Centre Bus Tour• Shuttle Launch Experience Simulator• Space Shuttle Atlantis and Gateway Exhibitions• IMAX Theatre of real space missions
Day 4: Full Sails University• University Tour • Game Design Workshop
Day 5: Universal Studios• STEAM Educational Program• Chance to also explore/have fun on rides Day 6: DisneyWorld (Magic Kingdom)• STEAM Youth Educational Series• Chance to also explore/have fun on rides
Day 7: Universal Studios• STEAM Educational Program• Chance to also explore/have fun on rides
Day 8: DisneyWorld (Hollywood Studios)• STEAM Youth Educational Series• Chance to also explore/have fun on rides
Day 9: Universal Studios• STEAM Educational Program• Chance to also explore/have fun on rides Day 10: iFly Orlando & Departure • Students examine the physics of freefall and the technology and engineering of a wind tunnel • Students have the opportunity to experience a one-minute freefall in the wind tunnel • Depart Orlando for Melbourne Day 11: Day lost in transit Day 12: Arrival • Arrive in Melbourne

Tour Registration Form

Parents/carers are asked to complete the following form to register their child for the Ave Maria College 2024 STEM Tour. Go to Tour Registration Form This form is to be completed by 9:00am May 30 2023.

Payment Timeline

The total cost of the tour is $9425 and is broken down into the following payment timeline. All payments are to be made directly to Ave Maria College. June 1 2023 – $825 deposit (non-refundable) July 1 2023 – $2,150 partial payment September 1 2023 – $2,150 partial payment November 1 2023 – $2,150 partial payment February 1 2024 – $2,150 partial payment
