Itinerary
Day 1: Departure - Saturday September 14• Depart Melbourne Airport for Orlando
• QF402 – MEL (6:00am) to SYD (7:25am) • AA72 - SYD (9:15am) to LAX (6:00am) • AA3010 – LAX (11:10am) to Orlando (7:06pm)
• Transfer to Hotel via Bus
Day 2 : iFly - Sunday September 15• Physics of Freefall Workshop
• 2 Minute Indoor Skydive
Day 3: Kennedy Space Centre - Monday September 16• Space Shuttle Atlantis Exhibit• Students explore and tour NASA areas, including Space Shuttles.• Chat with an Astronaut• Guided & Self-guided KSC Explorer Tours• Shuttle Launch Experience Simulator• IMAX Theatre of real space missions• Students explore and tour NASA areas, including Space Shuttles. • Astronaut Training Experience Day 4: Universal Studios & Islands of Adventure - Tuesday September 17• 2x STEAM Educational Program• Chance to also explore/have fun on rides Day 5: Volcano Bay - Wednesday September 18• Chance to explore/have fun on rides Day 6: Disney World (Hollywood Studios) - Thursday September 19• STEAM Youth Educational Series Program• Chance to also explore/have fun on rides Day 7: Disney World (Magic Kingdom) - Friday September 20• Chance to also explore/have fun on rides Day 8: Mass & Travel Day - Saturday September 21• Mass in Orlando, Florida• Transfer to Space Camp • AA2073 - MCO (12:45pm) to CLT (2:34pm)• AA5129 – CLT (4:10pm) to HSV (4:37pm) Day 9 - 13: Space Camp - Sunday September 22 - Thursday September 26• Participate in a mission simulation that includes launching and landing a Space Shuttle and simulating a spacewalk on the International Space Station• Participate in a mission simulation that includes launching, landing and walking on Mars• Experience the effect of zero gravity in the multiaxial trainer• Experience one-sixth gravity of the Moon, by performing a Moon walk• Work through challenges of Mission Control during live space missions• Build model rockets and complete analysis of their launch and flight trajectories• Build a heat shield use to protect Space Shuttles during re-entry • Complete leadership development and team work activities• Partake in a guided tour of the operational side of the Marshall Space Centre and Davidson Centre.• Participate in a simulated shuttle launch - with simulated G-force• View retired NASA rockets and the Pathfinder shuttle• Participate in various IMAX and Space Camp-staff led presentations

Parents/carers are asked to complete the Traveller Data Form for their child as part of the preparations for the CRC North Keilor 2024 STEAM: Missions & Frontiers Tour.

Payment Timeline
Families are asked to make payment to CRC North Keilor, which will be then passed onto Immersive Education. Please do not make payment until the tour is confirmed.
The total cost of the tour is $9,950, broken down as follows:
May 19 2023 - $950 deposit (non-refundable)
November 1 2023 – $2,500 partial paymentFebruary 1 2024 – $2,500 partial paymentApril 1 2023 – $2,500 partial payment
July 15 2024 - $1,500 partial payment
