Brauer College Tour Portal Page

STEAM: Frontiers & Applications

Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 restrictions, this tour has been cancelled. Families should have received correspondance from the school and Immersive Education informing you of your refund figure. We hope to be in a position to offer this tour to Brauer College in the near future.

Itinerary

Day 1: Wednesday June 24 - Departure • Depart Melbourne Airport for Orlando, Florida• Transfer to hotel• Explore area around hotel
Day 2: Thursday June 25 - Universal Studios• STEAM iPad Educational Programs (Kong Trol Panel & Special F/X Tour)• Chance to also explore/have fun on rides
Day 3 - 5: Friday June 26 – Sunday June 28 - Kennedy Space Centre • Students explore and tour NASA areas, including Space Shuttles.• Guided & Self-guided KSC Explorer Tours• Lunch with an Astronaut• Shuttle Launch Experience Simulator• Astronaut Training Experience• Mars Base One Program• IMAX Theatre of real space missions
Day 6: Monday June 29 - Universal Studios• STEAM iPad Educational Programs (Hollywood RipRide & Transformers Roll Out)• Chance to also explore/have fun on rides
Day 7: Tuesday June 30 – DisneyWorld (Hollywood Studios)• STEAM Youth Educational Series – The Science of Disney Imagineering: Gravity• Chance to also explore/have fun on rides
Day 8: Wednesday July 1 - DisneyWorld (Magic Kingdom)• STEAM Youth Educational Series – Properties of Motion Physics Lab: Space Mountain• Chance to also explore/have fun on rides
Day 9: Thursday July 2 - iFly Orlando & Universal Studios• Students examine the physics of freefall and the technology and engineering of a wind tunnel• Students have the opportunity to experience a one-minute freefall in the wind tunnel• Free afternoon with activities available to students include shopping or Universal Studios
Day 10: Friday July 3 - Florida Everglades Tour and Departure• Boggy Creek Airboat Ride• Native American Culture Show• Depart Orlando for Melbourne
Day 11: Saturday July 4 - Day lost in transit
Day 12: Sunday July 5 - Arrival• Arrive at Melbourne Airport

Payment Timeline

Following confirmation of sufficient numbers, families will be issued with a Family Identification Number (FIN) and payment instructions based on the information entered on the Intention to Travel Form. Please ensure you are familiar with the payment timeline below before committing to the trip. The total cost of the tour is $6,450, broken down as follows: May 1 2019 – $500 deposit (non-refundable)August 1 2019 – $1,000 partial paymentOctober 1 2019 – $1,200 partial paymentDecember 1 2019 – $1,200 partial paymentFebruary 1 2020 – $1,200 partial paymentApril 1 2020 – $1,350 partial payment All payments are now being accepted by Brauer College for this tour.
