Proposed Itinerary

Day 1: Sunday June 21 - Departure • Depart Melbourne Airport for Orlando, Florida• Transfer to hotel• Explore area around hotel
Day 2 - 4: Monday June 22 – Wednesday June 24 - Kennedy Space Centre • Students explore and tour NASA areas, including Space Shuttles.• Guided & Self-guided KSC Explorer Tours• Lunch with an Astronaut• Shuttle Launch Experience Simulator• Astronaut Training Experience• Mars Base One Program• IMAX Theatre of real space missions
Day 5: Thursday June 25 - iFly Orlando & Universal Studios• Students examine the physics of freefall and the technology and engineering of a wind tunnel• Students have the opportunity to experience a one-minute freefall in the wind tunnel• Free afternoon with activities available to students include shopping or Universal Studios
Day 6: Friday June 26 – DisneyWorld (Magic Kingdom)• STEAM Youth Educational Series• Chance to also explore/have fun on rides
Day 7: Saturday June 27 - Universal Studios• STEAM iPad Educational Program• Chance to also explore/have fun on rides
Day 8: Sunday June 28 - DisneyWorld (Hollywood Studios)• STEAM Youth Educational Series• Chance to also explore/have fun on rides
Day 9: Monday June 29 - Universal Studios• STEAM iPad Educational Program• Chance to also explore/have fun on rides Day 10: Tuesday June 30 - Florida Everglades Tour and Departure• Boggy Creek Airboat Ride• Native American Culture Show• Depart Orlando for Melbourne
Day 11: Wednesday July 1 - Day lost in transit
Day 12: Thursday July 2 - Arrival• Arrive at Melbourne Airport from Orlando, Florida

Intention to Travel

Complete your details on the Intention to Travel form linked below to commit to the CRC St Albans 2020 STEAM: Frontiers & Applications Tour. Go to Intention To Travel Form. This form is due by 9.00am Friday November 1 2019. A confirmation of the tour will occur via email before Friday November 8 2019.

Payment Timeline

Following confirmation of sufficient numbers, families will be issued with a Family Identification Number (FIN) and payment instructions based on the information entered on the Intention to Travel Form. Please ensure you are familiar with the payment timeline below before committing to the trip. The total cost of the tour is $5,900, broken down as follows: November 15 2019 – $700 deposit (non-refundable)December 13 2019 – $1,300 partial paymentFebruary 1 2020 – $1,300 partial paymentApril 1 2020 – $1,300 partial paymentMay 15 2020 – $1,300 partial payment Please do not transfer any money until Immersive Education sends a "Confirmation of Tour" letter to your nominated contact email address.
